Ioanna started her film & television career working as a freelance Producer and Project Manager, handling film and digital productions for gallery and installation based films. She has worked with numerous critically acclaimed film artists including Daria Martin (Tate Triennial 2006: New British Art) and Alia Syed (British Art Show 6).
In 2006 she joined TV production company, World of Wonder where she worked as Production Manager across a range of factual and documentary programmes for the BBC, Channel 4 and other international broadcasters. Credits include; ‘The Last 48 Hours of Kurt Cobain’ and ‘Dark Roots: The Anna Nicole Smith Story’. While at World of Wonder Ioanna was fortunate to work alongside some of the industry’s most popular documentary directors, including; Simon Kerslake (Hard Core: The Larry Flynt Story’, ‘X-Rated Ambition: The Traci Lords Story’) and John Dower (‘Britney’s Redneck Roots’, ‘Live Forever’)
Ioanna has also produced several short films, documentaries and pop promos for a number of established and up and coming artists including emerging pop promo director Shelly Love (Turin Brakes, Skin) and critically acclaimed director Hong Khaou (‘Summer’).
In 2007 Ioanna worked on ‘Bodyguard: A New Beginning’ where she established her collaboration with Intense Productions. She has since worked across a variety of projects as part of the company’s development team.
